Frequently Asked Questions

What methods of payment do you accept?

  • We accept cash or check.  We also accept credit card payments via paypal.

How long will my order take?

  • Catalog – This will vary depending on the vendor.  We will give you an estimate with your invoice.  Rush service is always available.

  • Custom
    Digital Baby Announcements – 7 business days after receipt of payment. 
    Baby Announcements – our lead time varies from 2-8 weeks.
    Wedding Invitations - our lead time varies from 2-8 weeks.

Can I get my envelopes addressed?

  • Catalog – Yes and no. Most companies offer the return address for an extra fee.  Handmade by Pink can also print the guest addresses for you.

  • Custom – Yes, envelopes can be addressed for an additional cost.  Addresses are printed in the same text as your invitation unless otherwise requested. If you decide to you have your guests’ addresses printed, you will need to supply your addresses list using a template provided by Handmade by Pink. 

 Can you send my envelopes ahead of time?

  • Catalog – Some companies will do this.  Please ask!

  • Custom – Yes.  If you would like your envelopes ahead of time so that you or your calligrapher may start addressing them, a one time $8.00 shipping charge will apply.

 Can I buy extra envelopes?

  • Catalog – Yes, you may purchase extra envelopes

  • Custom – Yes, you may purchase extra envelopes in groups of 10.

 What if I like a style but you don’t offer it in the color I want?

  • Catalog – we are limited to what is shown.

  • Custom - The possibilities are endless!  Please inquire about custom styles and/or colors – we love to create new designs!

 How do I submit a photograph?

  • To ensure quality we only accept .jpeg files of at least 300 dpi.  Please e-mail them to sales@handmadebypink.com

Can I change the typestyle?

  • Catalog – In most cases, yes.  Please e-mail us for the fonts available.

  • Custom - Yes!  Please e-mail us for a listing of the fonts we offer. 

 What printing options do you offer?

  • Catalog – Our vendors offer flat or thermography (raised) printing.

  • Custom - Most invitations are printed in house with high quality flat printing in black or color.  This printing method compliments the shimmer metallic papers we often use in our designs.  We also have a trusted third party partner that specializes in thermography (raised) printing. 

  What shipping methods do you use?

  • Catalog - Most vendors via UPS ground.  Please contact us for more information.

  • Custom – We ship all orders USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.  If you prefer difference method of shipping, you must notify us before proof approval as it may affect the cost of your order.   All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

 When should I send my Save the Date?
            Save the Date announcements should be send out 4 to 6 months prior to the event.

 When should I send my Wedding Invitations?
            You should send wedding invitations at least 6 to 8 weeks prior to the event.
